For developers, builders & site owners · Connecticut

Your project goes to the top of the pile.

The project you've got going is starting to slow down. Calls take longer to come back. And now the next one is here: a new site, and you need it figured out by the end of the month. Looking at how the first one is going, you already know your engineer can't take on another deadline.

Bring us the one with the date on it.

ZUVIC Inc. is a civil and environmental engineering firm in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. Developers and builders bring us the project with the date on it, and we tell them on the first call whether we can make it.

Your deadline is a scheduling question before it's an engineering one.

How it works

From your date to dates in writing.

01

Tell us the date.

The address, what you want to build, and the date you're up against: a closing, a lender, an application deadline, the end of the month.

02

A straight answer on the first call.

Whether we can make it, what we'd do first, and which steps are ours to speed up and which belong to the town. If we can't make your date, we'll say so.

03

Dates in writing.

A start date and a first-deliverable date in the proposal. One project manager who owns it and returns your call the same day.

How we work

Why it stays at the top of the pile.

We decide what goes on our desk, and we plan the work around your date before we say yes.

Your project manager isn't relaying messages. They read the scope, they own it, and they're the one who calls you back.

And because civil design, environmental work and surveying sit under one roof, a question that crosses disciplines doesn't wait in someone else's queue.

What that looks like

The record behind it.

Nine days.

When Patrick Snow needed a drainage design letter for a building permit in Southington, it went out nine days after he signed.

Six projects, four towns.

Over three and a half years, Pat has hired ZUVIC for six projects in four Connecticut towns, including 40 townhouses in Newington taken through two public hearings to approval.

Next step

Tell us your date.

  1. Book 20 minutes. Bring the address, what you want to build, and the date you're up against.
  2. We tell you whether we can make it. And what we'd do first.
  3. You get the dates in writing. In the proposal, before you sign.

Questions we hear

Answered plainly.

I need this done by the end of the month. Can you do it?

Once we understand what you're after, we commit to a schedule, and it goes in writing. We work that out with you on the first call. Some of it is ours to speed up: the survey, the design, the environmental review. Some of it isn't: town commissions meet on their own calendar. We'll tell you which is which, and if your date can't be met, you'll hear that on the first call, not after you sign.

When does the work start?

On the date in your proposal. We set it before you sign and plan our work around it. If we can't make the date you need, you'll hear that on the first call, not after you've signed.

Do I have to move all my projects to you?

No. Start with the one that has the date. See how it goes.

What do you need from me to get going?

The address, what you want to build, and your date. If you have a survey, earlier plans or reports on the property, send those too. Whatever you have right now is enough to start the conversation.

Can you take over a project that's already under way?

Often, yes. Send us what you have and we'll tell you what we can build on and what it would take before you commit to anything.
